    After a contentious public meeting in August, planners for the Council Creek Regional Trail have further adjusted the route options and will present the latest proposal at an open house from 6 to 8 p.m. next Wednesday, Nov. 5, at the Forest Grove Community Auditorium, 1915 Main St. More than a dozen proposed trail alignments that would have crossed farmland have been dropped from the original plan, including a few that have been dropped since the August open house, said Jim Rapp, a planning consultant with Parametrix. Instead, those trail segments would run along the 'street edge' of farmland, similar to the separated walkway along Highway 47, northeast of B Street.
