    Natalie Dayes was arrested in Texas earlier this month and brought back to Houma on Tuesday on charges of breaking in to and robbing a local jewelry store. Detectives say Dayes was involved in two break-ins at Fakier's Jewelry Store in the 8000 block of Main Street, the latest happened on March 1, 2015.

In 2009, Terrebonne Parish NAACP President Jerome Boykin filed a lawsuit claiming his former friend and the housing authority's director, Wayne Thibodeaux, made defamatory fliers about him during a state Senate race.
