    New Jersey taxpayers could save hundreds of millions of dollars a year and thousands of patients could have improved health and better quality of life if clinicians coordinated physical and mental health care, a new Rutgers University study says. The report, produced by the Center for State Health Policy , found that more than a third of the $880 million in hospitalization costs in the 13 communities it studied were associated with behavioral health issues such as mental health disorders and substance use.

Gauntt, of Sanford Place in Jersey City, is charged with robbery, resisting arrest, and obstruction.

    Five Jersey City artists will be the focus of New Jersey City University student Martine Sultan's newest web series entitled "Highlight of the Week." The 24 year-old, who launched iBRSTV in 2011 in an effort to cover the local arts scene and will premiere her new web series on Friday, Nov. 21, with subsequent episodes broadcasting on Wednesdays at 7 p.m. "I am dedicating this first season to my hometown, Jersey City, as I am featuring only rising talent that Jersey City has to offer," said Sultan, who majors in media arts at NJCU and partnered with De-Quan Jenkins of SpeechLOUD Productions to create the show.
