About: Meridian, Mississippi

Meridian is located in central-eastern Mississippi. It was established in 1860, near the city's historic Union Station. The Mobile-Ohio Railroad and the Southern Railway of Mississippi allowed Merdian to become dependent on the goods transported via the railroads. First Apostolic Church in Meridian provided a free pre-thanksgiving dinner to all first responders and anyone else from the community who wanted to attend and the church understand the sacrifices that these first responders do for our community.
