A Norwich native and Norwich Free Academy graduate, Gomes has worked for Norwich Human Services for the past 28 years and has been a supervisor of social work services since 1986.

    A Quaddick Road man charged last month with molesting several boys while he was a Boy Scout leader allegedly molested two of them in a shower on the Nichols College campus in Dudley, Mass., according to arrest warrant affidavits. David Kress, 52, was arrested Oct. 23 and released on $100,000 bond.
