In 1891, construction began on Westminster Castle, which was supposed to be used as a university that was presumed to become the "Princeton of the West."     Both lanes of eastbound U.S. 36 have been reopened at 104th Avenue following an accident in the area this afternoon, but motorists are advised to be prepared for traffic delays as a lingering side effect. The Colorado Department of Transportation at 3:30 p.m. tweeted out, "EB US 36 closed @104 Ave b/c and accident;No reopen time," but by 4:30 p.m., Westminster police spokeswoman Cheri Spottke reported that her department had cleared the wreck and reopened the highway.
