Dogan Eskinat, a spokesman for Turkey's emergence management agency, AFAD, said that seven people from the Canadian consulate have been hospitalized as a precaution after one of them opened a package and was exposed to a yellow powder.

    A York-area man who had been facing several years in state prison instead will serve three months in York County Prison for causing an alcohol- and drug-fueled police chase in which his vehicle struck a state police cruiser. Wayne Allen Weedon Jr., 23, was sentenced Monday to three to 23 months in prison, followed by two years of probation, for the Dec. 27 pursuit in York City.
