The state capital of Florida is Tallahassee. It was named by Spanish Ponce de Leon who arrived in search for the mythical "fountain of youth. " Florida is known for its agriculture and tourism industries. Its agricultural products include oranges, grapefruit and other citrus fruits, potatoes, melons, strawberries, sugar cane, peanuts, dairy products and cattle. Major tourist destinations include Miami Beach, Palm Beach, St. Augustine, Daytona Beach, Key West and Orlando. Florida is home to the NASA Kennedy Space Center and Disney World.
