The state capital of Florida is Tallahassee. It was named by Spanish Ponce de Leon who arrived in search for the mythical "fountain of youth. " Florida is known for its agriculture and tourism industries. Its agricultural products include oranges, grapefruit and other citrus fruits, potatoes, melons, strawberries, sugar cane, peanuts, dairy products and cattle. Major tourist destinations include Miami Beach, Palm Beach, St. Augustine, Daytona Beach, Key West and Orlando. Florida is home to the NASA Kennedy Space Center and Disney World. Famous residents include actor Burt Reynolds (Deliverance, Smokey and the Bandit), Charles and John who are circus entrepreneurs known as the Ringling Brothers, singer Jim Morrison, and actor Johnny Depp (Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Edward Scissorhands).
