  • A Verdict Prompts A Question: How Did Rowland Not Learn His Lesson The First Time?
    Saturday, September 20, 2014 3:30:38 AM

How could John Rowland tempt fate again, 10 years after his crooked dealings with state contractors sent him tumbling from the governor's office into federal prison? How did he not learn his lesson? Why didn't he make the best of the golden opportunities he was given - in the form of a high-paying economic development czar job set up by his hometown Waterbury pals, and a radio gig as a WTIC-AM talk-show host - after he completed a 10-month sentence that, itself, was considered by many to be a gift from a lenient judge? Those were the questions asked Friday afternoon, in the worlds of politics and reality, after the jury in federal court found Rowland guilty in conspiracies to violate federal campaign laws in the 5th Congressional District races of 2010 and 2012.

XFINITY VOICE in Waterbury gives you much more for the money than the average home phone service. You'll get call waiting, call forwarding, caller ID and several other great XFINITY VOICE Calling Features. Remember back a few decades when you had the spiral telephone cord going from the handset to the wall unit? And having a long cord was great because then you could take the call into your bedroom for a private conversation? Then your phone cord would be crimped funny because you closed the door on it. Or how about the rotary dial that took forever to dial a "9" or a "0." It probably made calling "911" even more stressful! Those days are behind us, and with the great calling features offered by XFINITY VOICE, you'll be happier than ever.

From local calls in Waterbury to across town to international ones Xfinity Voice covers all its bases. Integrating all your home technologies with Caller ID on your television and home computer it is easy to see how phone service, the most basic of communication methods, continues to evolve with its internet brothers. All you used to ask for was clear service when it came to the home phone, but Xfinity Voice for Waterbury, Connecticut is willing to offer much more.
